Science teacher picking up NASA on baby monitor

Natalie Meilinger's baby monitor is picking up more then the squeal of her kids.

A mother of two in this suburb of Chicago doesn't have to turn on the news for an update on NASA's space mission. She just flips on her baby monitor. Since Sunday, Natalie Meilinger's baby monitor has been picking up black-and-white video from inside the space shuttle Atlantis.

"It's not coming straight from the shuttle," NASA spokeswoman Brandi Dean said. "People here think this is very interesting and you don't hear of it often _ if at all."

Riiiight...because we couldn't have a slip in security like that and admit it, now could we? Could it be getting a feed from the studio that Neil Armstrong faked his space walk from?

No More Chopping up bodies in Iowa

If you are looking to further your career as an ax murderer, you had better not make that move to Iowa.

A murder and dismemberment of a man's body six
years ago in Bellevue has resulted in a new state law that will make it
a felony to cut up or hide a body to conceal a crime.

That's right, Come July 1, no more chopping and hiding of bodies. I guess Iowa folk will just have to go back to farming.
